On July 11, I adopted Moppet who is now known as Peaches. She is such a well behaved, sweet and mellow dog that she thinks her name is 'Good Girl' because she is called that most of the time. Peaches was born without the bottom portion of her left front leg and came to APR from a poodle puppy mill in Alabama. As soon as I held her the first time, I could tell how calm and lovable she would be. I brought her home and in no time she was settled in and wanting to be outside racing around the backyard!
I am happy to say that Peaches is flourishing. She stays close to me but loves to play with the grandchildren and their dogs, too. She loves riding in the car whether just short trips around town or on the road to visit family. She is a sweetheart!
