Oliver (formerly Armando)

I adopted Oliver aka Ollie from APR on September 12, 2009. He celebrated his 1st birthday this February and is so happy to have a home. We have been so busy hanging out that we forgot to send a Happy Tail or should I say Super Super Happy Tail Story!

Ollie is a lovable dog and makes friends with everyone. He was a little nervous at first thinking that I would leave and never come home but now he knows I would NEVER leave him.

About Adopting Ollie:

I knew that I wanted a Boston Terrier for several years before I found Ollie. I started searching petfinder.com this summer and came across many dogs but one stood out, Armando. He was not available for adoption and was in rehab so I kept looking; however, something kept bringing me back to his profile. One Wednesday, I checked it again and he was available for adoption. I got very excited and had a feeling this was the Boston for me. I showed up at APR 30 minutes early and it was fate that I did for others were interested in "Armando." Luckily, I was able to take him home. We have been best friends ever since!

About Ollie:

Nicknames: Olliedog, Olli-licious, O-dog, Ollers, Olive, Oliv-e-ay Ollie-mando, Stinky (yes very), Mosquito, Snuggles, Yoda, Alien, Little Weenie ... Oliver has lots of nicknames and lots of friends.

He has two girlfriends (Lucy the Boston Terrier and Beatrice the French Bulldog) and many boyfriends too!

Ollie likes to visit Petsmart a lot and always finds a new toy to bring home. He passed his beginner training class and knows how to shake and likes to show off his skills. He is very smart and always knows to sit thinking that someone might give him a treat.

Ollie likes to cruise the neighborhood and is always meeting new people on our walks. I often hear people exclaim how cute he is with those "huge" ears and expressive eyes.

Ollie's big news:

Ollie is getting ready for a move this summer to nyc! He is excited to be a city dog and has started practicing his curbing. He cannot wait to strut his stuff in the village and meet new friends.

Ollie is the best thing to ever happen to me! Thanks APR!
