It's been almost 3 weeks since I adopted Bea (formerly Bella) and Chance (formerly Leo). I can't believe how quckly the time has flown! The resident dog now loves the kitties and tries to play with them all the time. Chance is still afraid of Toula and runs under the bed when she tries to play with him, but Bea rolls around on her back and plays right back. The two kitties LOVE to play, and I call 10pm the "witching hour" as I am guaranteed to find them pouncing on each other and chasing one another throughout the apartment at 10pm on the dot!! Although I never would have guessed it, I am even becoming one of those "cat ladies" and I have a cat tree arriving tomorrow for them to climb and sleep on!
The kitties did have to go to the vet last week because they had nasty "funk" in their ears, but it wasn't ear mites so the vet will re-check them next week when they go back for their booster shot. Otherwise they are very happy and healthy kitties!!

PS - The picture is of the kitties curled up sleeping on me while I was watching TV one afternoon.
