Annie (formerly Lizzie)

My lab/spaniel mix recently passed away at the age of 13 and I was brokenhearted. After a while I realized that it was time to find a new pup. At the recommendation of several friends, I went to the APR website to take a look at all the available pooches. On July 3, 2010, I went to APR in hopes of finding a new friend. It was so crowded that Saturday and most of the pups that I had gone in to look at had already been adopted. YEAH! While I was waiting for my interview, I noticed Annie (Lizzie) standing calmly in the middle of a group of barking small dogs. When Judy asked me who I was interested in visiting with, I immediately pointed out Annie (Lizzie). Annie's foster mom had given her a wonderful review and Annie and I hit it off instantly. She is such a blessing. At 14 lbs. she is the smallest dog I have ever owned and is pure terrier in her funny antics and scrappiness. It has been a wonderful month and a half and I look forward to many more months of joy.

Thank you APR for all that you do and for all your hard work in finding all these pups new homes!

Donna W.
