Bonnie (formerly Shasta)

We adopted our sweet Bonnie girl in June 2010. We have only had her for two months but she is settling in as a part of the family. We had a little bit of a rough transition with kennel cough, serious fear/anxiety, submissive urination, and some resource guarding but Ken from K9 Coach helped us through most of the behavior issues once she was well. Every day she is getting more and more confident, especially on our walks! She can now walk on a leash and encounter other people/pets calmly. She is super smart and has already learned sit, lay down, "touch", play dead, leave, drop it, and shake! She is a sweet, funny girl and not a day goes by that she doesn't have us cracking up about something. She is learning to love sleeping in her own bed and she LOVES her squeaky toys. Her absolute favorite thing is being petted or snuggling! If you won't let her in your lap she will lay across your feet just to be near you. Thanks for rescuing this sweet, funny girl.
