You might remember this cutie as the little girl that looked like a dirty mop head with her long tangled hair. I believe she was described as "Being unrecognizable as a living creature unless she moved". Well we are pleased to say she cleaned up nicely and is absolutely adorable after a little TLC. She has also transformed from a timid, frightened little thing into the friendliest dog in the neighborhood. She loves to greet everyone who passes by with a frantically wagging tail. She eats like there is no tomorrow and looks so much more healthy. We have had her since August and she has been a great little addition to our family. Thanks to APR and everyone associated with them that make these adoptions possible.

I was at the shelter when Jackie came in. I held her as Judy cut through the urine and feces saturated knots of her coat. I saw how timid she was. Thank you so much for sharing the picture and update. This is what APR is all about!
