Match made in heaven

So today a stunningly wonderful boxer was adopted by two equally wonderful people. They also happen to be my friends. I've fostered seventy plus dogs for Atlanta Pet Rescue and every time one is adopted you hope they've gone to the great homes they deserve. Today I know that this happened. Brutus was not one of my fosters but what an awesome guy. To know that he as gone to a home where he is truly loved, where he will be treated as an absolute equal, where his new owners will give the structure, the manners, the unconditional love that EVERY dog needs to reach their potential is wonderful. Structure. Manners. Routine. They matter as much to the dog as the unconditional love. Katie and Dharval gained a wonderful friend. Brutus? He aced it. He hit the jackpot. I wish every dog could have what Brutus has found. I hope that my three APR dogs are as lucky as I know Brutus to be. Have a wonderful life together, you deserve each other.
